  • Repay debt and get back on track


    If you have significant water debt that you can't repay but you can afford your ongoing water bills, Restart might help.

    If you pay your current year charges, at the end of year one we will reduce your debt by an equivalent amount.

    If you continue to pay your current charges in year two, we will clear your remaining debt. It means you will be back on track.

    We may ask you to seek free independent advice. If so, you will need to provide them with details of your income, household bills and any debts or savings you have.

    If you are waiting to receive debt advice and need a hold on your account, please contact us to let us know which organisation your appointment is with, the date and time and the advisor's name if known.

    Please ensure you continue to pay what you can while you are applying for help.

    Once we have received your application, we will let you know within five working days if you have been accepted and what will happen next.
