  • Wild Watch Issue 10

Welcome to the Summer/Autumn 2016 edition of Wild Watch – bringing you up-to-date with the latest environmental news from Wessex Water.

In this edition we profile our new conservation, access and recreation (CAR) project, take a look at how the successful projects from our Partners Programme small grants scheme are using our funding and provide an update on how you can find information on our wide ranging investigations programme.

In other news, we were really pleased to be rewarded for our environment efforts associated with our large grid pipeline work and you can also find out about the latest addition to our sustainable head office.

We have been focusing a lot of our efforts into the Bristol Avon river catchment and this edition features news on our innovative approach to catchment permitting for nutrients and also our joint work with Bath and North East Somerset Council, the Canal and River Trust and the Environment Agency, in a jointly funded Water Space Study looking at new ways to use rivers and canals around Bath.
