This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of a project team, delivering business transformation within Wessex Waters Operations department, to turn disruption into opportunity.
As the Change Management Lead, your role is fundamental to enable the business to make a step change in the work management culture, through a programme that will develop and implement business processes and technologies which will enable Wessex Water’s Operations business to improve its working practices and shape its business for the future through a fundamental cultural change.
Working as an integral member of the Operations Business Systems and Change team on work management projects, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of the business’ transformation strategy and communication.
You will work closely with a range of stakeholders, identifying all areas impacted by this change in work management solution and helping them to prepare for the transition. You will also work closely with the Business Analysts, Implementation Manager and System Matter Experts to develop key messages around the progress of the project and ensure that all project communications are clear, consistent and relevant to the business to ensure we maximise effectiveness.
You will also provide support to supervisors and managers across the business, enabling them to become effective in the delivery of this transformation across their teams. You will be required to react to changes within the project, accurately identifying the impact and adapt communications and activities accordingly. You’ll also take the lead on transition management, ensuring that ‘business as usual’ is maintained during the transition and the changes are effectively integrated into the business.
What do I need?
We are looking for someone who has a proven track record and significant experience in business transformation/change management. Experience of working on an IT Enterprise programme would be an advantage.
You’ll have a sound understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools. You will also be able to demonstrate that you have influenced changes in behaviour and made improvements with benefits realised.
Along with your exceptional communication skills. You’ll have strong stakeholder management, interpersonal and relationship building skills. With the ability to work with and influence managers and staff at all levels.
