Staying hydrated in Trowbridge

Staying hydrated in Trowbridge

8th October 2019

Wiltshire

Thirsty locals and visitors can now stay hydrated when out and about in Trowbridge.

We have installed a water refill point at County Hall to help customers stay hydrated and avoid single-use plastics.

The refill point is the first of many that will be rolled out across Wiltshire in partnership with the council – we will keep you updated with where they get installed!

Cllr Philip Whitehead, leader of Wiltshire Council, said: “This is a simple answer to helping people stay hydrated while avoiding single-use plastic bottles, which create clutter and are bad for the environment.”

“It is the first of many venues where this partnership will be rolled out and is a positive step as we look to help the council and county be carbon neutral by 2030.”

At the official opening of the water refill point, our community team was joined by council experts to promote good-health messages and hand out refillable bottles.
