Events

Join us at events across the region

This year, we will be attending runs, races, sporting events, country fairs and county shows, as well as hosting our own events, including education drop-in days at our recreation sites and apprenticeship open days at our headquarters in Bath.

We are proud to have teamed up with Cancer Research UK's Race for Life, RaceNation and other organisations to help keep runners and event attendees hydrated with tap water from our portable refill points, while also reducing the number of single-use plastic bottles usually generated by these events.

'Around the bend' tours

In June and July, around 1,400 people attended our 'Around the bend' tours, which took place at 15 of our water recycling centres across the region.

The guided tours gave customers a look behind the scenes and helped them to understand how we treat 480 million litres of sewage every day.

The 88 members of staff involved in the tours also taught attendees about what shouldn’t be put down the toilet and sink to help prevent blockages.
