Set up an account
If you are new to us, welcome to Wessex Water!
To set up an account, please fill in our form:
You'll need the following information:
- the date you moved in
- your new address
- an initial meter reading if your new home is metered*. If you are unable to get a meter reading, please call us to arrange a meter reader to visit. We will read it on the weekday you move provided you give us five working day's notice.
*We aim to install a water meter in unmetered properties when there is a change of occupier following a property for sale or a new tenancy.
Once your account is set up
- sign up to ebilling so you can view and pay your bill online
- set up a Direct Debit to spread the cost of paying over the year.
Moving in checklist
Here are five things to do after you've moved into your new home:
- find and read your meter
- find and locate your internal stop tap and lag pipes in cold winter
- check your water hardness to update the settings on your dishwasher
- save water and money
- apply for a surface water drainage allowance (if applicable).
