Key stage 2

We tailor our school visits and site tours to meet the national curriculum’s requirements for key stage 2 (KS2).

What do we offer?

We offer KS2 pupils the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the impact humans have on the water environment.

Water and the environment are an increasingly important part of the national curriculum, and our education team is available to support teachers and pupils.

All the activities delivered by our education team are tailor-made to meet both the individual needs of pupils and the objectives of the national curriculum.

The programmes we offer can be enjoyed within the school environment or at one of our eight education centres across the region.

Our activities

We offer a variety of school-based activities including:

  • assemblies for the whole school or individual year groups
  • STEM workshops
  • interactive lessons covering science, geography, history, technology, English and maths.

These sessions give pupils the opportunity to gain practical experience and a better understanding and of the outdoors and the environment.

These visits are complemented by structured tailor-made programmes, supporting worksheets and excellent resources.
