Using benefit payments - Water Direct
If you are behind on your water bill and receive benefits, we can take payments directly from your benefits.
Who can apply?
You will need to owe us more than £50.
You or someone in your household must also receive at least one of the following benefits:
- Income Support
- Jobseeker's Allowance
- Employment and Support Allowance
- Universal Credit
- Pension Credit.
How does it work?
Payments will be made directly from your benefits, so you don't need to remember to pay us.
We will also take no action to recover your debt while you are on Water Direct.
Before you apply
To complete this application, you will need:
- your personal details
- the details of the person receiving benefits (if not you)
- the date of birth and National Insurance number of the person receiving benefits
- the type of benefit(s) being received.
